Pier Room

All of our separate buildings provide various accommodation styles and all look out onto the cove. Even our restaurant has panoramic ocean views. The oceanside pool is a few steps from whichever room you choose. Each building is situated to take the best advantage of the quiet cove. We may have mentioned it before, but Smuggler’s Cove is all about the view!

Our convenient oceanfront property is just five minutes from downtown Boothbay Harbor and one mile from the incredible Ocean Point. The Inn is close to all coastal Maine attractions, yet not in the hustle and bustle of a downtown setting. Our central location allows guests to daytrip up and down the coast without spending the entire day driving.

  • Ringside seats for the changing of the tides-all Pier rooms have semi private balconies overlooking the water. The Pier’s spectacular setting will make you feel as though you have gone to sea.
  • First floor rooms offer two queen beds, second floor rooms offer one king bed, all rooms have a flat screen TV with basic cable.

Anchor Room

Set your anchor and settle into a waterfront chair on your semi private balcony.

  • Spacious, with semi private balconies and even a kitchenette if you wish, Anchor guest rooms have room to sprawl.
  • Semi private balconies with panoramic ocean view
  • All rooms offer two queen beds and flat screen TV.
  • Corner rooms are efficiency units with two queen beds, one queen pull out sofa, fully equipped kitchenettes and seating for four. Excellent for extended stays and families.

Loft Room

Eye to eye with an eagle-rooms in the loft are on a hilltop above the cove.

  • The Loft is perched on the hillside with a view over the pool and the cove, perfect for keeping an eye on activity going on below or taking in the view.

Dory Room

Lantern Room

  • This is our Pet Friendly building*. These rooms offer two full size beds.
  • Top floor rooms have an oceanview with balcony (and original Décor).
  • *No pets allowed on Top Floor. Pets are welcome on the bottom floor only.
  • Lantern building rooms are discounted because they do not have A/C and are only updated minimally. There are no REFUNDS for “Room Unhappiness.”
