Children can enjoy swimming in our heated pool, building sand castles on our private beach at low tide, fishing, or playing on our newly added kids play area. Boating activities are also available to kids with parent supervision.
Guests can enjoy breathtaking ocean views with their meal. Every table has an ocean view through our panoramic glass-lined dining room. Savor the flavorful American / Maine inspired dishes created by our executive chef, Daniel Lynch.
If you feel like staying in and want to grab a few souvenirs or even a snack. You can visit our on-site gift shop right at the front desk.
There are three scenic walking trails located within a mile of our property. For our guests we conveniently offer free use of our kayaks, canoes and paddle boats. You can enjoy one of our beautiful evening sunsets right on the water in one of our kayaks!
Our heated outdoor pool is waiting for you to enjoy at a comfortable 80 degrees with a spectacular view and the ocean only steps away from the pool.
Guests can enjoy walking along our private sandy beach at low tide.
Guest are welcomed to fish off of our private dock. Moorings are available for boaters for a small fee. People can dock and dine at our 1820 House Restaurant.
Our guests can enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast buffet prepared by our Chef Daniel Lynch. We are fortunate to have such a fine chef at this Boothbay Harbor Maine Hotel.
Located just outside of busy downtown Boothbay Harbor, we have plenty of free parking available for all guests. Overflow parking and Loft building parking are located on the North side of our property.
Things to Do in Boothbay Harbor Maine: Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Whale/Puffin Watch trips, ,Golf, Mini Golf, Lighthouse sightseeing cruises, and sport fishing trips are all located within a 5 mile radius of Smuggler’s Cove.
We are just a short 5 miles from the downtown Boothbay Harbor Shopping area. There is something for everyone in downtown Boothbay. Ask Alan or Marge for the best places to go.
Enjoy our pet friendly, Maine-Lodge style room accommodations in the Lantern building. These are our only pet friendly accommodations where guests and their four legged friends enjoy an ocean view and balcony together.
